If you like history, particularly the Revolutionary War then Hale Homestead is a must. The tour gives you a real taste of life during that period. Our docent was very good and brought the house and grounds to life.

You may get a good glimpse of Colonial life here but Nathan Hale was hung 1 month before the family moved in to this homestead. More appropriately called Hale Homestead since his father and brothers lived here, but he never did.
