Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A good experience but crickey, the safety briefing took 25 mins with practise around two fields! Just over the top. However once on the bikes it was fun but the time was swallowed up by safety training which could have been more light hearted. We were not alone with this feedback as others said this in the group of 12 that we were with. Could easily have been a 5/5 if the safety briefing was more fun and far far shorter. One of the bikes didn’t work which meant they messed about for 10
Mins just sat there.

In a relentless quest spanning three decades, seeking the ultimate adrenaline-fueled escape, my serendipitous journey led me to "Quadmania," a haven of adventure and marksmanship. Undeterred by the tempestuous North Sea, we voyaged through apocalyptic conditions to reach our elusive destination at "Quadmania." Amid the earth-shaking roar of quad engines and the thunderous crack of clay pigeons, I embarked on a heart-pounding odyssey under the celestial guidance of our clay pigeon instructor, Rory, and the quad bike instructor, David. These godlike figures in their respective domains possessed powers that transcended human boundaries, leaving me exhilarated to the point of disbelief. From conquering perilous terrains on a quadbike to engaging in a dance of death with clay pigeons, I was transported into a realm of exhilaration and mastery so extreme that it defies the confines of mere words.

Booked Clay Pigeon shooting for me, my partner and teenage son. My son is now old enough to do this and so he was really looking forward to this. We all had a great time and our instructor was great. Very helpful and showed us all how to improve with hints and tips. He was a good laugh and made the experience a great one.
My teenage son won and now I won’t hear the end of it haha!
Great fun.

After being apprehensive at first as never drove a quad bike before I absolutely loved this experience!!! We were given clear instructions and had some practice before going onto the trails. The views were breathtaking and driving up and down the hills gave us butterflies. After stopping at the top for some pictures and to take in the view we went on another trails through the woods and we got to drive through lots of puddles (my personal favourite part). Would recommend this place so much and our instructor David was so lovely and professional. Already planning on going back it was that good! Thanks again.

Went as a family on the 1.5 hour ride.
David was very patient with my daughter who was very nervous.
He ensured everyone in the group was able and ready to ride the quads safely before setting off on what was an excellent off road ride through forest, water, steep hills and tracks.
A really enjoyable experience for our holiday that we would definitely recommend.

Our party of 3 all throughly enjoyed the whole experience at Quadmania. David, the host was helpful throughout and we felt totally safe and secure. The views were breathtaking and the quads were well maintained and easy to use. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone.

First timer here & my confidence was built up so quickly by David & Rory’s guidance. Loved every minute, grinning like a fool the whole time. Definitely recommend & want to come back and do the mammoth. We’re spending a week in one of the cottages on the farm which I also highly recommend. This place is just fantastic.

ABSOLUTE MUST DO WITH TEENAGE KIDS!
Better than go karting or rollercoasters.
Kids 12 and over on Holiday in Scotland?
They hate to go hiking? (which teenagers doesn't?)
Still want to enjoy the scenery and experience the Glenns?
Afraid of horses? Hills getting a bit too steep for ya?
Enjoy the great outdoors without the prancing (horse) or panting (one selves) complaining (teenagers)
Very good instructions and practice runs, slowly building confidence and let's roll!
An hour and a halve is too short (including the instructions)
If there would be 1/2 day trip options with a picnic brake or (farmers) bbq at the end, my boys would sign up in the blink of an eye. (Quad camping trip is suggested here)
I bet key rings with miniature quads would sell like hot cakes as souvenirs (add a little Scottish tassel or Quadmania brand for pr) Maybe a Facebook page where you can post pictures?
Super fun with fabulous hosts and solid quads.
Never felt unsafe. Definitely would go again.

We booked the 1.5 hour quad biking experience as a bit of fun whilst we were staying in the local area. It did not disappoint! David was thorough with his safety briefing and general competence overview ensuring that all the participants in the larger group were comfortable and familiar with operating their bikes. Rory was then enlisted to offer some additional support - what a gem he is - endless patience and a watchful eye! The scenery was stunning and there was an opportunity for a photo stop to capture the memory. Highly recommend if you are looking for something a little bit different to do.

I am planning on a day visit with family to dunoon. Just like to know if quad bikes have to be booked in advance and how much per person by the hour, if so? My boy would love this. So would his dad. Lol. Thanks! Angela.

Hi Angela! Yes, the quad bikes need to be booked in advance to make sure we have availability. There are three trek types: the Quad Adventure Trek is 1.5 hours and £45pp; the Monster Quad ATV Trek is 2 hours and £70pp; and the Mammoth Quad ATV Trek is 2.5 hours and £95pp. There are also age limits for each trek, the Quad Adenture is a minimum of 12 years old, the Monster Quad is a minimum of 16 and for the Mammoth you must all be 18 or over. If you'd like to book, just give the office a call on 01369 810289! Hope to see you soon.
