Comedy of errors great show interesting twists. The bad walked in the door 2 minutes late and had to wait to sit while watching on a TV. Annoying but somewhat understandable, mind you there was significant snowfall and a nasty accident on avon mountain causing about 30 people to be late. Then when about to be seated the usher find... I saw The Comedy Of Errors last night with my husband, my sister-in-law (very big Shakespeare fan), and a friend. We laughed out loud. We thoroughly enjoyed the play and the way it was presented. We are in the age range of 30-40 and enjoy a clever turn & modernization of the Bard. This was definitely a fun romp and... More

Darko's latest Shakespeare "A Comedy of Errors" was a rewarding provocative assault of color, talent and sound. Always guaranteed to challenge ones thinking and astounding in the display of talent, the Bollywood ensemble piece was my favorite - a juxtaposition worthy of the creative direction and cast. I've seen a number of productions here over the years and am always impressed with the quality of professional casting and the opportunity (sometimes) to be able to talk to the director and casts after the shows. I was a high school teacher, and some trips were truly memorable for me and my students. They have a nice mix of... More

I saw Queens for a Year in October 2016. I thought the play was thought provoking and disturbing and excellently cast. I am hoping to go back and see Christmas Carol sometime in December 2016. The picture you have of the audience seating says it all. There is not a bad seat in the house and it is just big... More

Hartford Stage for years has always amazed me with their selection of entertainment in the Greater Hartford area and being downtown makes it all the more exciting.
