Whilst staying at the Waterford Arms which is only a few minutes walk away. We had breakfast at the Waterford which was massive an opens up to the public at 8 am. We headed along the beach for a nice walk to clear the gobwebs. Nice Walkman there was plenty of people out with there dogs and the coastline line... More

Just been to Seaton Sluice Beach this morning with the dogs. There are some great view and scenery to be taken in. Well worth a visit either solo or as a family. There is also a cycle track which runs adjacent to the beach if you like cycling or wanting to get the sand off you shoes if you have... More

Stay on the sandy beach, photograph the small fishing harbour or follow the tidal river through the wild life sanctuary for a easy going compact gravel footpath walk along side the river. There's only one country lane to cross the rest of the time the dog can run free and there shouldn't be any cyclists using the trail. To top... More

Brilliant longggg stretch of sandy beach and sand dunes. Just keep 'toot' for the dog poo as this is where irresponsible middle aged dog owners go.

The long beach is backed by sand dunes, making it feel more remote and natural than other beaches in the vicinity, as houses etc can't be seen. It's great clean sand for building castles etc & children love the wide open space which never gets crowded. My husband proposed to me on this beach over 40 years ago and it... More

Seaton Sluice beach is a long stretch of golden sand stretching from Seaton Sluice harbour to Blyth and backed by rolling grassy, sand dunes. The beach shelves gently in to the sea making it ideal for bathing if you can brave the coldness of the North Sea even in summer. Whenever we visit with the grandkids they love to run... More

Extended family came to visit, which included 8 adults, 6 children and a dog. One of the highlights of their trip was the day out we had in Seaton Sluice. We virtually had this section of the beach to ourselves and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Very rare in this day and age to have had this much fun for... More

Perfect for being in the middle of a heaving ocean and with protecton fro the elements. A few fishermen were carefully protecting their secret location.
