Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My first time visiting this beautiful place …… came to watch the shires apart from the show being absolutely brilliant the venue is stunning. I just wanted to say thank you to all the lovely staff in particular the gentleman I spoke to on the phone … he reassured me as a solo visitor the walk back to the car park was very close and a steward would be on hand if I wanted escorting back to my car. I certainly will be back to visit again having a look at the grounds and the house ❤️❤️❤️

I was the chap on the phone - delighted you enjoyed the evening, and thank you for the splendid review of our family home and garden theatre (started by my grandfather in 1969). Another cracking show by The Shires!

Another year, another 5 circle review, deserved.

Money for Nothing and Fleetwood Bac, £23 and £26 respectively, how could you possibly complain. Excellent musicians and all dressed the part.

Some rain on both occasions but it was warm and we dressed accordingly. Great spec on the bank at the far side. Fizz, sushi, olives, crisps and some emergency Red, courtesy of the boys in charge of catering. Dancing in the 'mosh pit' at the end, we were going our own way! Happy days.

On Fri 30th Jun we attended one night with Queen tribute. The singer was dreadful, without the backing group we would have gone home. The venue is great but not performance not so. Not worth £33 each

A beautiful place for an outdoor concert.
I have been to two outdoor concerts at Gawsworth this summer. I’m in an electric wheelchair so it was a little daunting at first.
I didn’t need to be worried, the owners and staff of the hall were super helpful and friendly. Nothing was to much trouble for them.
The disabled toilets were very clean and well maintained, they even had a bar or hot drinks which were all accessible.
If you give the hall a call before you visit then they are happy to show you around to make it easier for you.

Took my elderly parents to the 'Musicals' show and we had a great time, so lucky to have this on our doorstep.

Weather was iffy and there's no grandstand any more but we were prepared. Take your own chairs, blankets, picnic rugs, tables, Gazebos, food, drink etc.

The Richards are lovely people and it's all very well organised.

Absolutely rammed on the evening, all ages, 8 to 80's, majority dancing and just enjoying themselves.

Be back next year.

Just had a fantastic weekend attending Gawsworth's events, Saturday was songs from the musicals and Sunday saw the Summer Proms and would gladly recommend to everyone. From the arrival to leaving all the staff were so friendly and welcoming which rubbed off on the audience, okay the weather could have been better especially Sunday but did not here anyone complaining and we were all in good spirits. The artists were professional in a relaxed manner, staff and members of the family were helpful and approachable. All amenities met all our needs, the café is well stocked and a good choice of drinks and food. Will definitely attend again cant wait for next year. Thank you

Crikey! This was a difficult encounter from both sides. The Hall was Closed today when you visited. You ignored the locked car park gates and two Closed signs on the main gate. Your wife asked me to help with directions to Gawsworth "Park". As we walked in the right direction, from the field you reach after the Hall garden, I started to explain the best route. Your wife was on the phone at the same time, and appeared to be having great difficulty hearing me and understanding. I asked her to please come off her phone for this reason.
