We went to Gawsworth for the first time to see Richard Thompson in Concert. His show was part of Gawsworth's Summer season. The season includes original artists, tribute bands and theatrical performances including Shakespeare, and you could easily be there every week through the summer....More

Visiting for one of the concerts, beautiful warm afternoon and great venue. Organisers are brilliant, couldn't help more. The whole evening runs smoothy - can't recommend it enough. If you read the poor review about button holes, ignore it. It must have been a misunderstanding.

Strawberry woods at Lower Withington or wagon & Horses pub CW12 2JD. Castle Camping at Mow Cop is a little further but the views are fabulous. There's Dane caravan park but that may just be statics for hire.
