Brilliant place to visit on a sunny day. The castle is amazing and full of history. Lovely area for a pic nic and take in the sites. Also Horse riding available. And stepping stops over the river. Great day out for all.

We popped here to cross the river using the stepping stones. The river was a little bit high for us as we didn't have appropriate shoes or a towel. This didn't stop anyone else everyone seemed to love it. Free parking a pub right next...More

Picturesque view of the castle with the hills in the background. There is a river nearby with stepping stones across the river. I would expect to spend 30 to 45 minutes here

Ancient ruins where you are left to explore at your own pace. Lovely location for a picnic and it’s always fun crossing the stroll stones on the river!

We nipped here on passing. Although it's only ruins it's worth a visit. Kids enjoyed crossing stream on the stepping stones. This castle was free to visit. No toilets here, but a nice pub just a minute up the road.

Always a worthwhile stop on a walk. Close to historic stepping stone across the nearby river and to an excellent pub!

A beautiful location and a nice set of castle ruins just by a really picturesque set of stepping stones across the river

Visited briefly with friends on a cold November morning but it's simply stunning. You couldn't spend too long here but the beach is nearby and that's gorgeous too. We got some lovely photos here and it was a great place to see.

This is a free attraction that is dog friendly but you must keep them on a leash. There is a lovely river behind it with some stepping stones. Other than that there's not much to see to be honest which is why I've rated it...More
