    Great experience
Great afternoon with the team and animals! The guys that run it are really passionate and care about the animals which is fab! We greeted, fed and walked both alpacas and llamas who were brilliant from start to finish. Really different experience and a great way to spend your afternoon. Recommend 100%

    Fantastic Memorable Experience
This was a fantastic experience, the staff were very friendly and knowledgable. We both learnt so much about the alpacas. This experience is great for couples or families. We choose the experience where we had our own alpacas or llama and we were paired up with ones that were picked for us. I learnt so much about my alpaca and he walked so well with me and we had the option to meet all the other llamas and alpacas and feed them too! I would highly recommend this experience and would even happily book again myself!

    Awesome experience
I bought a voucher as a gift for my Mum for Christmas. Booking was easy via the website and we had such a wonderful time. The animals are clearly loved and happy. We enjoyed a lovely walk with Ste explaining lots of things about alpacas and llamas. Jack and Perry were very well behaved and all the animals have lovely quirks that were explained to us. The especially lovely part was that Ste and Laura take photos of your group while you walk and send them on to you afterwards. Thank you so much for a fab experience, we will be visiting again. Highly recommend.

    Amazing visit!
What an experience! I wasn’t planning on visiting and stumbled across them on my walks today. The owners were both so welcoming and ensured that I could join the walks. The experience let you get up and close with the Lamas and Alpacas, feed them, walk them and attempt to stroke them … but we know they don’t like being touched! There was plenty of feed to get up and close (no extra cost) and the day was not rushed, plenty of time to ask questioned and such a relaxed experience. From someone who has visited many farms, volunteer centres and has a love for animals there is always a concern that animal are being used for money purposes! But 100% not here, they have limited opening hours (for the right reasons) and they do it because they have so much care for the animals and all money goes towards vet bills and care and this is what makes this place so special! I live 7 hours away but if I was closer I would 100% be here every weekend. Little bonus they take pictures for you (free of charge) and send them over so you can just enjoy your time with the animals and be in the moment. Thank you!

Alpaca and Llama experience - top quality - definitely worth the money!
The llamas and alpacas are beautiful creatures. Steve and Laura were lovely, really knowledgeable and caring. I got to walk the Llama Cosmos and my sister had Perry the Alpaca both very well behaved. After the group walk we were able to meet the other male and female alpacas and llamas and we had a little bag of grass and hay pellets to feed to the animals. Highly recommended would go and do it again. Laura makes various items with the wool and sells them in there little shop on site.

Great experience day in a great setting with views over Morecambe Bay.
Excellent visit with my partner- had bought it as a birthday gift for them. We had been booked for the day before but bad weather meant it had to be rearranged for the next day. We were pleased about this as much better day. Ste and Laura who run the experience kept us informed and put everyone at ease concerning how to interact with the animals. They paired people with animals that were suitable to their temperament. We were introduced to the male alpacas and llamas then went for a short walk around an adjacent paddock. The field was gently sloping and easy to negotiate. We then returned to the start point then went to meet the females and younger alpacas. Ste took photos as we went round and forwarded them on via WhatsApp. The animals were easy to handle. There were approximately 15 people of mixed ages visiting at the same time but the numbers were more than usual due to rescheduling from the day before. No refreshments on site but we visited the Ship Inn in Bardsea village beforehand for lunch (no more than 10 minute journey). We have been on two other similar experiences in the past in other locations, can honestly say this was the best so far.

    Fabulous experience
We had a fabulous time - the owners are so friendly, the whole experience was wonderful and great fun. We were paired with Bruno the Llama and Mario the Alpaca and had so many laughs. It was the highlight of our holiday and thoroughly recommend.

Walking with the alpacas and llamas.
From start to finish it was amazing. Ste & Laura were very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about their llamas and alpacas, they were more than happy to answer any questions we had. The walk was alot of fun, we each had an alpaca or llama to walk and feed and we could interact up close to all the others. It was lovely and clean and it was very clear they love them all as they were all very well taken care of. I would highly recommend visiting here, it was something different to do and exciting to be amongst them all. They were very placid and all had very different characters which Ste planned carefully which animal would be most suitable to each person's personality. I thought this was a lovely touch. Although he gave Me one with extremely big teeth and a moustache.. hahaha. Get yourselves there, you won't be disappointed, you can even purchase some gorgeous handmade items that Laura had made from the fleece. 10/10 from both of us.

    Great Experience
What a fantastic experience this was, total wildcard we booked up and hit on with the weather. Turned up not quite sure what to expect but it was a great way to spend a couple of hours and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The animals are beautiful and you can tell how well they are looked after and cared for. Recommend to anyone to go

Ste and Laura were amazing hosts I went with my wife and 10 year old grandson and we all absolutely loved it. Ste was very informative and entertaining and the animals all had their own unique characters and were a pleasure to be around. I can't recommend this highly enough and will definitely be returning with our other grandchildren.

Such an amazing experience! The alpacas and llamas are so lovely and adorable, never expect to have such a close encounter with them! Ste and Laura are so knowledgeable and shared with us many fun facts of the lovely animals! We also bought some nice hand-made souvenirs by alpaca wool!

Brilliant afternoon out with our grandson. Lots of interaction with the Alpacas and Llamas. Ste and Laura, owners, could not have been more helpful and informative. They went out of their way to ensure everyone had a good time - matching them to the right animals. Highly recommend a visit.

We had a fantastic time on the Alpaca Walking. Received a voucher for Christmas after it was recommended by family but would pay myself to go back. Very friendly staff and animals. Loved getting to know all their alpaca and llama personalities and loved the shop where items were labels by which alpaca fleece it was made from - made it much more personal.
Wish I could go every weekend!

I went with my friends and had a really lovely time. Steve and Laura were very friendly, funny and accommodating. They gave us lots of information about the llamas and alpacas which were very interesting. They were really reassuring about walking them and we were given lots of grass pellets to feed them! Definitely worth a visit!

My partner and I had the best day out with Laura and Ste and their herd of alpacas and llamas. We started off with an intro about our walk and learnt all about these fabulous animals as well as their individual personalities. We then set off on our walk with a group of male alpacas around some private fields, the alpacas were all very well behaved and just walked alongside as we went. We stopped regularly for treats and petting breaks, particularly as we had a very greedy llama called Cosmos. Once we returned we then went to meet the female herd before going over to look at some of the newborns. All together the experience was a couple of hours including the walk. Laura and Ste are so lovely and welcoming and are so passionate about these animals. We even received a couple of photos of our trip too! I think it's a great activity for all the family and I can't wait to go back again soon!

Great visit to Bardsea Alpacas & Llamas last week. Even visiting solo I was made to feel very welcome by both Ste & Laura as well as the rest of the group. I was paired up with the very handsome Sid and we took the various alpacas & llamas for a walk then had time with the boys off their head collars which was great as you could get up close to them all and feed them all. We then went to see some of the girl alpacas & llamas in another area and again got the chance to get up close to them and feed them. Finally we went to see some other girls and could also see 4 cria who were absolutely gorgeous.
Overall a fantastic experience and I'll definitely be back, who knows, this time I might be persuaded to take a llama out!

We booked in here at the last minute - because my sister and I just love Alpacas!! We've visited Nattajack Alpacas in Ormskirk a couple of times (and they're fab too!!) So, Ste and Laura were very friendly and welcoming....and although we didn't go on a walk this time.....we just had a meet and greet - and a chance to handfeed their beautiful Alpacas and Llamas....as well as touch their lovely soft fur! They are amazing creatures and they are as curious about us.....as we are about them!! As soon as you start walking towards them....all their heads go up....and they just stare until you go right up to them! Whether you are young, old or in the middle....then you will enjoy the experience!
Oh and we bought a lovely hat each - hand knitted with Alpaca wool and an Alpaca bobble on the top- so nice and warm 😊
Anyway, if you're visiting the lakes or live there....its well worth a visit!! You will also be supporting a small business - so what are you waiting for??!
