Where angel wings have trod... gather with the saints at the river! Beautiful peaceful place with so much history to reflect on! I feel close to God as I walk through and think of family, life and God! Go...soak in the peace!

It’s a calm place, with some very interesting history behind it. (If you’re up for walking around, through or across Mystic like I did, which is totally doable in nice weather, then it’s between downtown Mystic where the drawbridge is and other things closer to...More

Very interesting tombstones. Some of the very old ones have become part of the tree root system. You can understand why people would want to be buried by the river, the view is beautiful. Lots & lots of trees which I found surprising. I'm sure...More

We drove through the cemetery and found lots of interesting inscriptions and markers. This is a wonderfully kept piece of history. We will return to look more closely at the various family plots.

You cannot get much more of a beautiful location for a cemetery. On top of that add some fall colors and a view of the water and you will have some amazing photos.

The cemetery is in the shape of an Elm Tree. You could spent a whole afternoon just walking around looking at the old head stones and all the unusual large trees.

We really enjoyed walking in this cemetery, it was a full mile walking the complete outer circle. We loved looking at the old markers as we walked. The cemetery is directly next to the river which adds to the enjoyment.

This cemetery is a treasure house of wonderful markers and monuments. What a great scenic location right on the water. A great place to walk, explore or have a picnic. A great place for photographers too.
