Nice place with rooms representing different periods of history throughout the long occupancy of the farm. One of the oldest places in the area. When we were there they were also conducting some fascinating archeological dig in the yard.

Lovely old family historical house tour run by descendants of the original owner. Many original items still in the house.

While visiting family in CT from the west coast we discovered the Denison line in our ancestry. We were able to tour his amazing house and have our family connection confirmed! The volunteers are wonderful and the tour of the house was very informative and well done. If you get a chance to visit I highly recommend it!

My sister and I got a private tour of this great homestead by an actual decendant of the family and found her very knowledgeable, informative and fun to talk to. Make time in your day to view this great property and listen to a fascinating presentation.

Check out the website. Its very well done and well kept. A lot of local school field trips hit this place (watch out for those busses). Otherwise very quiet and peaceful, and it seems likes theres always some event or other going on.

The actors who work in the house do an amazing job representing life way back when. It is fascinating how hard life was and how determined they were to succeed. If you love history you need to see this home.

This is a beautiful old home and it is decorated in old time fashion. A stop is well worth it and if one likes nature there is a fine area just up the road with trails.

This beautiful house is across the street from the Nature Center and definitely a jewel to visit. The house dates from 1717 and the rooms are furnished to show the house through the time periods when it was lived in. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the site. There will be an event at the Homestead on July... More
