This Winery has great wine and a great atmosphere. The owners were really nice and answered all my questions about how they make their wine. Would definitely recommend this place!

Upon arrival, you will see the rows of grapes planted before coming upon the tasting room. Once inside the charm and very friendly owners (Ferraro Family) are there to greet you. Their wines are far above others as well as award winning. From the orange Vidal to the Black Bear port, which is amazing, you will find how unique and... More

This has to be our favorite winery on the act wine trail. We feel like we are visiting family every time we visit. Tony, Judy and Jason are great hosts. They pace your tasting to your speed and give lots of information about each wine including what to enjoy with each. The fireplace is so warm and cozy in the... More

During a road trip to the northwest part of Connecticut, we decided to stop and taste the wines produced by this family-run operation. The wines produced here are manufactured with very minimal sulfates added to the wine. This definitely creates a different variety of tastes. The tasting event is conducted by members of the family and as such the owner's... More

Immediately upon arriving, we were greeted by the owner who was very knowledgeable and sweet. No to low sulfites in their wines with the most amazing flavors and tastes. We visited other establishments and ended up returning later that day because we were so impressed with their kindness and knowledge. Not a big winery, but definitely one worthy of a... More

We went to this winery labor day weekend, and enjoyed every wine on the menu! We were having a party at my house on Labor day, and decided to pick up a bunch of bottles from about 6 wineries in and around litchfield county. We bought 5 wines from Ct Valley, their Chardonel, Orange Vidal, Dolce Vita, and their 2... More

The setting is beautiful, the wine is sweet. Go for a tasting if you enjoy sweet wines, but I highly recommend that you do not buy any wine to take home. It is expensive and it will not last. I had a bottle in my wine cupboard for about a month and it exploded all over the inside of the... More

My girlfriend and I visited many spots on the CT Wine Trail last weekend. There were a few standout spots, but Connecticut Valley rises above them all! Their wine is so good that their stock was almost completely bought out - there was just enough left to complete our tasting and walk away with a couple bottles of our own!... More

My husband & I have been doing wine tastings when we travel for a few years now. We are, by no means, wine experts, but we know what we like. The wines at CT Valley Winery are our favorites. Try their Sangria!
