This is truly one of the best exhibits I've been to of Nativity scenes from around the world. Each one was absolutely beautiful and ornate. It's incredible that this museum is completely free - including the parking!

Thank you for visiting and sharing your experience. There are featured nativity scenes on display from Germany, as well as crèches from various countries around the world that are a part of the museum's collection. The show continues to Jan. 29, so please invite others to visit -- or come again yourself! More

We didn't know what to expect when we decided to visit the Knights of Columbus Museum. When we entered the museum we were greeted by the friendly staff. The exhibits were interesting and informative. We stayed much longer than we expected. Everyone agreed this was a great choice!

This is one of the few museums in New Haven that is open on Mondays. It's free and has friendly and helpful staff We spent a couple of hours looking at Crèches of Germany: Tradition & Faith and Fleeing Famine: Irish Immigration to North America, 1845-1860 The crèches were amazing So much detail. The potato famine exhibit was quite small... More

We visited the Knights of Columbus Museum to view the exhibit of the Creches of Germany. The exhibit was great, as was the rest of the museum - the history of the K of C and the artifacts were pretty interesting! Admission & parking are free! Although we live close by, this was our first time here - will definitely... More

I recently visited the KoC museum for the first time taking my 82 yo mother to view the Crèches of Germany exhibit and their festival of trees. What a gem! The facility is wonderful and is free including parking. The exhibit was really well curated and the staff was exceptionally welcoming, gracious and engaging . FYI - The museum is... More

My family has visited this museum 3 times, twice at Christmas. Interesting museum around the year but our favorite time to visit is December when about 20+ Catholic schools in the state decorate trees that are on display throughout the museum as well as creches from around the world and a highlighted country. For example, 2014 was Italy and 2016... More

This museum was wonderful! It had a nice variety of exhibits, including the history of the Knights, historical artifacts from Columbus, and German holiday ornaments. Not to mention, it's free! Great way to spend an afternoon, I especially loved the steel from the World Trade Center (pic below); it's a powerful testament that allowed my friend and I to reflect... More

Thank you for your visit and for taking time to share your experience with others. The two dozen Christmas trees, decorated by area schoolchildren, are indeed a popular attraction at this time of year! We look forward to your return visit! More

Hardly any exhibit of Columbus so didn't really enjoy our visit. Although had some good information on Irish immigration to USA. Seems more like promoting religion.

Thank you for your visit. In the context of the entire museum, the Christopher Columbus Gallery may seem limited. However, it contains one of the largest public collections of Columbus art and memorabilia in the United States, including items brought by Columbus to North America on his second voyage. I’m pleased you enjoyed our “Fleeing Famine” exhibition, which remains on... More

My wife and I visited the K of C museum today. What a great Catholic treasure in the heart of New Haven. John, our greeter, gave us a warm welcome and overview of the museum highlights. With free parking and easy downtown access, we will be sure to visit again when in the area. We concluded our visit with a... More
