What a wonderful treasure! This park has a wide variety of trails and open spaces perfect for any family. We drove to the summit, parked, and walked several trails with our infant daughter and three dogs. Two things I love about the off-season: no admission...More

I have lived in the area all of my 73 years. This park, its trails, the Mill River and the hiking to a view of Long Island are among the best in the area. What is really neat is parking right on Orange Street across...More

There are some good running / walking trails in the park. This park is easy to get to, and there is an open space area for people to picnic in. Great place to hang out with friends or by yourself.

East Rock Park is a sandstone formation left behind by glaciers. There is a road for cars going up one side and a road blocked from cars going up the other. The view out toward Long island Sound on a clear day is wonderful.

Took the hard way up which was stairs, it wasn't to bad and I'm not the most in shape person so that's saying a lot. We did take the easy way down. I would do it again regularly

There r many hikes you can take at the park. Most are gradual climbs. You can extend a hike by connecting to other hikes; but you are able to complete many in 45-75 minutes. Enjoy!
