Our son was really excited to see this building since he is a big fan of the Nathanial Hale graphic novel series. The museum was closed but we still enjoyed looking in the windows. I would give it a higher rating but the people of...More

Though not in the same spot that it was when the schoolhouse was first built, nor probably when Nathan Hale taught there, the Nathan Hale Schoolhouse is a historical building that deserves to be visited. When this schoolhouse was the Union School, Nathan Hale came...More

Most interesting, especially for us Connecticutites! A great place to take children who are learning about US history.

You can't miss the School House as it's the first thing you see from the train and anywhere around the main square in town. It stands out as it’s a small, bright red 1770’s wooden house sitting in the shadow of taller, modern buildings behind...More

This little school house should be put on wheels. It has been remodeled and moved at least four times since it was built. Not sure it looks anything like it originally did, but still interesting.

We had enough of Mystic, very crowded on a Saturday. This was a 5 minute stop as they were closed. Amazing how the town grew up around it. Nice fountain next to it.
