As with everything in TRNC, it's so cheap. Kids are basically free and the belediyesi charge practically nothing to get in. Friendly staff and refreshments available. The caves themselves are fantastic. Be careful though as you can really hurt yourself in there! Have fun!

Quite difficult to find but well worth persevering.....the gypsum caves are a real wow!. The council official took our money...just 5TL each...just over £1 ! We followed him to a fig tree where, out of sight, was a door that he unlocked. Quite steep set...More

A Walk back 1 mill years. So beautyfull - and still NOT destroied by tourism. Just do it. Open mo-tu. And Thy-fri10-1530. And sunday.

I'm afraid not. Just going to go again some time and hope its open. It doesn't say anything about closing for winter either but I think it might close daily if the weather is going to be poor. It's not really included in... More
