No matter how old you are, everyone can be a "kid" when you visit the Maritime Aquarium. I don't know where to start. You can pet the rays and sharks, see the seals being fed, look eye-to-eye with the meerkats; there's just so much to experience! The shark tank is awesome, as are all the frogs. The café offers a... The Aquarium is the perfect size for my family...not too big and not to small. My 8 year old was fascinated by the sustainable harvest of fish exhibit and the Dragon exhibit. My 4 year old liked the meerkat tunnel and captains ship. The souvenir shop is very nice and offers a range of goodies. We went on a Sunday... More

Good value for all ages! Located right in the heart of South Norwalk, many good restaurants and shops close by. The aquarium is not too big so if you have smaller children it is an easy entertaining day. Very friendly staff and lots of hands on exhibits.

My 9 year old grandson and I are long standing Maritime Aquarium members and go numerous times a year. Once a year I treat him to the Research boat ride which he thoroughly enjoys (and I do too!). It is educational and fun 3 hour ride and I love seeing him interact with the staff. The staff educates the children... More

The Aquarium does a fabulous job of tailoring their content so it's interesting and engaging for our two-year-old and our friend with a master's in science journalism.

Our 3 1/2 year old loves the tank where you can touch a jelly - and the shark and ray "petting" - so much fun. Wish they offered more ORGANIC food options bc the cafe is an awesome space!

We've been members since 2012 and go quite often since then — it's our son's favorite place. We've had 2 birthdays there and love everything about it. It's constantly updating an improving making each visit a different experience.

I became a member when the Maritime Aquarium first opened years ago. It was a great place to take my three young daughters as they were growing up. I recently became a senior citizen member and have already taken my 5 year old granddaughter several times. She loves to go there and already knows where everything is.

So much fun and so much to see! Something for all ages! Great family place. Would not recommend the café. Eat at one of the surrounding restaurants in Norwalk.
