A great place to relax. Go at night for the sunset and let the dogs run in the ocean. Low Tide is just the best! Clamming is a must as well.

We went there during our stay at Old saybrook. A beach is really clean and not full with visitors. Only thing is they have a parking fee.

This beach was charming, and tucked away in Old Saybrook. And like other reviewers, I also missed the driveway for it. It was smaller than I anticipated, but when we arrived there was plenty of parking available and they didn't charge us (was like 3:30PM)....More

This is a clean, well maintained beach and easy to find. We often bike there from the B & B where we stay. Nice views and there's an overhang to get out of the sun, which is nice.

We stopped by to check out Harvey's beach, for a return visit in June. There is a concession stand and bathroom/changing rooms in the parking lot. It is pretty easy to miss the entrance.

This is a great beach for walking on a vast sandbar, also at times viewing sea life. Beautiful, serene view.

The water is incredibly warm and shallow for quite a distance. We love taking our toddler here. Con: parking is expensive

This tucked away little beach was perfect for a romantic sunset outing on a fall evening. It has gorgeous views over the water!

Still the tucked away little gem I remember as a child. I grew up on this beach in the 60's and 70's and was so happy to find it as charming now as it was then. For a nice secluded picturesque beach away from the...More

This is a very good choice if you're looking for a smaller, quitter beach compared to the larger state park type beaches. Great for folks with small kids or family members who have trouble walking far from the car to the beach. Be sure to...More

It's on Great Hammock Rd. If you hit the beach with parking on both sides of the road, you've passed it. You have to go by a booth to get into the parking lot.

I don't believe there are any additional charges beyond parking, but you would have to check with the town of Old Saybrook. They run the beach.
