the swimming are did not look very clean and the "hike to the waterfall" was about 2 minutes and there were people standing there changing to go in to the small pool at the bottom of the waterfall

Indian wells has a ton of empty picnic tables next to the river, ample (paid) parking and a lovely waterfall to hike to. Perfect date spot for the summer!

Love this place it's clean and family friendly just big enough to have a picnic and watch the boats go by. Some days you can even see a bi-plane!
