Why is it when you find a gem of a spot with beautiful surroundings and generous portions of top quality food, it doesn't last? Such is the case for Fort Hill Farms. What was a regular family outing has become a "why return". I am...More

I have to be honest and say that we only stopped by for the ice cream but we found there was a bit more to see while on the property. There were a couple of feisty guinea hens as well as a chicken a peacock...More

My brother and I visited Fort Hill Farms while in eastern CT today. The gardens were pretty. It had a cool chess set in one of the gardens. They had some calves that you couldn't get too close to and a peacock in a cage....More

Pick a sunny fall day and spend the afternoon at this beautiful location. Well designed and maintained corn maize. Loved the adult storyteller's nature tales. Buy something lavender and check out the peacocks. Be sure to bring cash - no ATM there or nearby.

Great location - beautiful grounds. They just opened a great looking corn maze (need to try that some day). Went for the ice-cream and despite excellent service, the ice cream was just good - was hoping for great. Will return.

My husband and I had such a great time! It was our first visit to the farm. The corn maze was filled with fun, hidden images, and gave lots of options of paths to take. We loved the 2 bridges you can safely walk up...More

A fun place to spend an hour or a day. Get lost in the huge corn maze, pan for gemstones, or merely enjoy the best ice cream around.

First off, don't bring your dog. Signs implore you not to let your pets out of the car. This is understandable with peacocks roaming around. The grounds are gorgeous, but the ice cream is just ok. My husband had the lavender but said it just...More
