This is a large area of woodland in Eastern Connecticut very near the Rhode Island border. I have been there many times. It is not a place for sweeping views except from the summit of Mount Misery. Other highlights are the Rhododendron area which blooms...More

Hiking, biking, hunting, swimming, camping, fishing, birding, ball games, and more. The Pachaug Forest with its several state parks has something to offer everyone. Hopeville Pond, Greenville Pond, and Mount Misery are the best park in the forest.
