Did it with a guide which would reccomend. Not a continuous slog rather the odd steep climb with test walks between. IMHO a guide is a must to avoid dangerous wrong turns. Good day out 2500 - 3000 calories burned.

An absolute must for everyone in Ireland at some point in their life. A tuff day of climbing for sure but the views from the top are amazing.

This was our second time to hike up to the country's highest peak. First time was 3yr ago in August and weather conditions were poor. We used a guide thankfully otherwise we'd have been completely lost.... guide was John O'Sullivan from The Lodge & Reeks...More

unbelievable climb . great day for it . this is something every one should do . some places are dangerous . we did devils ladder route up and came down cahar route . love lunch at the top of devils ladder . a few spots...More
