Elizabeth Park brings us back over and over again. The rose garden and spring shows are the big draw. But the concerts and Pond House Cafe add so much to the area.

The rose garden is famous in the region, the Pond House Cafe is great for drinks, snacks or a gourmet-quality meal, and the tennis courts are usually empty. Concerts in the summer, roses in the fall, a nice break from urbanity any time.

One of the most interesting urban parks you will find anywhere. The Rose Garden is great, but be sure to check out the four other gardens as well (herb, annuals, perennials, and rock). And if you have an appetite and love exceptional food, don't miss...More

It's a park. Not that big. Not that small. Nice restaurant in it along with an amazing Rose Garden, a few Tennis Courts, etc.

This park has always been a great place to come. The flower garden is beautiful. Also in that same area you can grill and there is a nice play area for kids. Awesome park like it has always been!!!

We enjoyed our walk around Elizabeth Park on a crisp, October afternoon. The Visitor Center was locked so we couldn't get any maps or park info. Due to the time of year, there were far fewer flowers in bloom but we could imagine things in...More

A beautiful park any time of the year; but during the flowering seasons it is off the charts. The roses and seasonal gardens are just gorgeous.

Go when something beautiful is at its peak in the garden, or just for a walk on the fine path that winds about the gardens. Nice spot to walk a dog. If you can, a reservation for a meal at the Pond House restaurant on...More

It is very pleasant to walk around the rose garden from summer to frost and convenient that there is a restaurant on the premises. Parking is available but there is sometimes a wait until a space opens up.
