Love Westmore! Very kid friendly, educational and just plain fun! The animals are use to people so sometimes they like to show boat :-) My granddaughter loves the animals, the barn cats, the staff (very friendly and always willing to answer questions), Penney and the turtles and frogs and just walking the trails.

A wonderful park to visit animals, taking a nature walk and sledding in the winter. Great spot for children's birthday parties. And they have a Llama named Olah!

My toddler and I have visited this park several times over the last year. They have several domestic farm animals that can be viewed in the barns or pasture. Visitors are not authorized to touch or feed the animals (however they have programs through the year they allow for supervised contact with the animals. A schedule and pricing are available... Westmoor Park is a gem. Beautiful grounds, some animals to view, picnic jewel. They have a great room with a huge picture window where you can look out into the fields to rent for any occasion. Perfect for a children's party that allows for a tour of the barn with a park specialist. West Hartford's best kept secret for children... More

Westmoor is beautiful open space, but it also offers activities to the community. The house has an excellent meeting room with beautiful views and can be booked for use by organizations. The barns house various animals that kids and adults alike enjoy. The town Leisure Services office sometimes offers classes at the farm such as "how to compost." There is... More

I used to visit Westmoor Park as a child. I hadn't been in over a decade, but it's still a special place. There are animals and hiking trails. I wish I had more time to wander around.

Really disappointed by this farm. The animals were out in the field. There was no interaction allowed with the other animals in the barn. Staff were unfriendly. There isn't really anything to do unless you sign up for a class. The gardens are tiny with limited species. I really didn't get it. I invite you all to experience the Little... More

Tucked away behind a shopping center, it's a small working farm that caters to educating children about nature. Animals, gardens, gentle hiking trails, a brook to play in, hills to roll down and a lovely little nature center. And that's all for free. Lots of classes, summer and vacation camps, a 4H club and a birthday party venue cost a... More

Small farm, educational facility that is fun for families. Children can see some animals close up and there are programs offered for the public.
