Then admire the Town Green. Visit the railroad station and the Windsor Arts Center.
From the Windsor Arts Center walk south until you find the River Trails trail head. Take a nice walk.
Then tour the Loomis-Chaffee School campus.
The building has been transformed into office space and is no longer open to the public. It is a big White House between the library and town hall. The folks at the library are very friendly and recommended the park and the river trail instead.
At first I thought there must be a SECOND Huntington Museum in Connecticut, but when Pinkie and Blue Boy were mentioned I knew there was an error. These paintings are in the Huntington Museum, Library and Gardens in San Marino, California. Lovely place to visit...More
