It is rare to go out on a beautiful black beach. Still less common is seeing seals frolicking in the surf. Most of us don't get to drive an ATV, let alone at wide open throttle. But on this tour we got to combine all of the above!
Einar was a great guide. He was relaxed, but attentive to safety. We were given warm suits, helmets and gloves. He allowed us to find our own pace and we didn't feel rushed. We started on gravel roads on the outskirts of town to get the feel of the ATV. We stopped at a lava tube and then ascended a small ridge to get a great view of the area. From there we headed to the beach. It was a beautiful and exhilarating ride. I would highly recommend this tour.

We had an excellent experience with this company and our guide Einar Alex. It was well worth the cost and Einar went the extra mile to make it memorable for us.
We were debating between doing this tour and one in Vik and we were very happy we chose this one. Zipping across the black beach with no one else in sight is a memory that will not soon be forgotten.
Highly recommend if you want to see a piece of Iceland that is not easily accessible by car or foot.

We made a reservation for last week that needed to be cancelled a couple hours before because we missed our flight to Iceland and wouldn’t be arriving until the next day. We called, explaining the situation, and they said we’d be able to get a refund if we emailed them referencing the call.
I emailed them stating who I was and that the person I spoke to on the phone said we’d be able to get a refund given the circumstances. Over email, they asked if we could reschedule to another day, but we couldn’t because we wouldn’t be in Reykjavik, so I politely asked for the refund they said they could provide.
They then never responded to that email or the two follow-ups I sent them. They basically ghosted me and took our money for an activity we couldn’t go on.
TLDR; this company promised us a refund over the phone for a compromised trip, and then proceeded to keep our money and ghost us.

About 3-4 years ago I did a tour with them and went again today and was very glad to see that they are as great as they use to.
Small group, excellent equipment ( clean, new-looking overalls and rain jackets on top of them. Also, hey provide rubber boots and gloves.
ATV were in excellent shape and they sure let us ride them.
As someone who is living in Iceland, I have been on many different ATV tours/used different companies, but I can say that this company actually do let people actually ride ATV.s as they wish and feel comfortable with ( on the beach ) - and that is proper fun.

Today we had the most fun ATV Black Beach tour - super fantastic and a lot of adrenalin. Both fast driving but also climbing. We saw the lava tunnel and all the beautiful landscape. Great guide and both equipment and facilitets at location was nice. Highly recommend this tour. We were a party of three woman mid twenties-thirty and late fifties. All can go as long as you are normally fit and respect the ATV and your own driving skills :-)

We booked two quad bikes for our family 3 hour trip and it turned out we were the only ones on it, so it felt like a personal tour.
Our guide Einar was brilliant and full of local knowledge. The Lava tunnel was something we weren’t expecting.
Racing across the black sands at full throttle with the waves breaking alongside us and not a soul around was something we’ll always remember. A fantastic morning.

We came here through a Viking Cruises tour. The tour company has rubber boots, helmets, jumpsuits and gloves that you can use. The two-man ATVs look new and operate well. We rode from the parking lot to a beautiful black sand beach. The ATVs are a little hard to control in the fine sand, but we managed. We rode around for some time and then headed back to their headquarters.

Had a great time! Was such a great experience flying down the beach on an ATV. I went on the back of it with my husband driving as I had no interest in driving, but it was still so much fun. Our guide was so professional, and clearly very passionate about his job. Would highly recommend.

It was great fun. Tour guide was excellent and very patient with slower drivers. You first acclimatise on a trail before riding on the beach.
