A wonderful museum filled with many treasure of american art - from historical to contemporary. Volunteer staff was very helpful. We came up from Dewey Beach on a rainy day for some site seeing. Nice drive.

Stopped by the museum to view the current Maurice Sendak exhibit, and wound up touring the entire building. I never knew they had such an extensive collection of early American folk art, furniture, and more! Well worth a visit - and I could kick myself...More

My favorite item in here was the glass vase , completely made out of sand, a lot of good history here and a good source for some fine art and history behind it

Lots of people travel past Dover on their way to the Delaware beaches. The Biggs Museum is definitely worth a side trip. The museum houses the collection of Sewell C. Biggs who spent his lifetime gathering art and artifacts from the Delaware and Philadelphia area....More

There are some interesting collections. The period furnishings on the second level is a nice collection. Have enjoyed the collections that move through the museum.

This museum has 3 floors of sculptures, wall art, and furnishings covering several different eras. The museum is located in historic Dover near the Old State House. There is an admission cost but I had a 2 for 1 groupon so it was very affordable...More

Beautiful paintings and artifacts, they have so many pieces of the most beautiful antique furniture and lamps, so many things you don't want to leave.

The center of Dover, Delaware has many historical sites of interest. This museum exhibits many of these artifacts and antiques. The paintings date back from american artists mostly in this area.
