We camped from 7/11/16 through 7/13/16 in a 33' fifth wheel RV. The access was a bit tight, but the sites quoted as large enough for us were indeed sufficient. The campground is quiet and peaceful. We didn't get to use the trails, but will in the future.

Fortunately, the weather was perfect for camping. I stayed with my 4Year old son in Cabin #2. the cabin was very impressive. It has small kitchen and 4chair table and full refrigerator. The bedroom has one double bed(squeaking) and Bunk bed. thus three mattress would be good for up to 4-person camping. nice ceiling fan with wall mounted A/C. We... More

Killers Pond is a clean, well managed state park. The hiking trails are maintained and offer a beautiful walk through old woods. The wild azalea and jack in the pulpit were blooming. The pond is home to blue heron, geese, ducks and turtles. Our camp site was good with lots of shade. And the staff was friendly and helpful. We... More

We have been coming to Killen's yearly for over 20 years. First we tent camped with our kids, and later we started renting their cabins. Now we take a boat and enjoy the comfort of cabins with hiking, boating, fishing, and area attractions. This makes an excellent base for trips to casinos, the beach and birding areas, antique shops, the... More

Great paths and beautiful views on our weekly Sunday dog walk through this park. I love the water views, bridges and nature center.

We stayed at the park for 3 nights. We did all of the trails and throughly enjoyed them. They are well marked and there are lots of views of the pond. The only thing I didn't like were the showers. They have a push button that lets water run for about 30 seconds. I'd take a shower in my RV... More

We enjoyed very much the natural beauty of the park, as we traveled with our family. It will be a great water park to go to with our grandchildren as they get older.

We stayed only one night at the campground but packed in a lot! From the registration desk to the pond, everything went very well. The camp ground was clean. Everyone was quiet after 10 pm. We felt safe. The restrooms were clean, too. The pond looked fantastic. Next time, we'll rent a boat. The nature center was small but highly... More
