when the weather is good the outdoor location is ideal. you can sit outside, have a cocktail, a bite to eat and watch the boats travel through the canal. the drink prices are high, especially wine that's served in a small plastic cup.

The ferry is the best way to travel and relax. Sit at the upstairs bar and enjoy the breeze and view. If you are lucky you may get to see dolphins on the way.

Every time we are in the area, we reserve a day to take the ferry round-trip from Lewes to Cape May. The price is reasonable, the ferry is clean, and the views are fantastic!

Please check with the Cape May Lewes ferry schedule. It is now high season, the best buy is walk on if the shuttle is running

9:45 to 10:00 to pass through the ticket clerk and get placed in a boarding lane. Both terminals have bathroom and food and drink services, so you do not have to wait in the vehicle.
