Drove by this place and got out to see the cannonball stuck in the foundation of the house. Not much more to say about this remnant of the conflicts that happened around this area.

Only got to take a walk by, so didn't see inside. Interesting to see the cannonball (smaller than I thought it would be) stuck in the wall on the outside though.

Walked around the main streets in Lewes and came upon the Cannonball House. It was closing so we will have to go inside at another time to give a full review. It is a very pretty piece of history.

Besides the cannonball there is also small pieces of history located behind and inside the building. I recon its worth the trip if you love anything history or learning about local culture.

You can see the cannonball stuck in the building from the outside. Much of the story is available on placards around the building. It has a traditional garden from its revolutionary past.
