More vendors than I expected at this local farmers market for a hot Saturday morning. Many people were out tasting and buying the produce, vegetables, local honey, handmade soaps/jams/jellies and baked goods. The blueberries were plentiful at Bennett Orchards but the peaches moved quickly. Lots...More

Plenty of parking is available at the elementary school. This market has plenty of fresh foods to choose from with vendors selling lamb and pork to fruits, vegetables and flowers. Lemonade is available if you are thirsty. Nice flat area to wander around.

We enjoy shopping for fresh produce, cheese and meets. We also enjoy buying baked goods such as bread. We liked it better when at Ship Carpenter Square and wish the market would return there.

Although the Lewis farmers market has moved from its downtown location, it is still a great place to help micro farmers and also get great produce. The tomatoes last week were just so tasty, and we loved the cantaloupes and watermelons

While visiting Lewes, I went to this fabulous market of fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, honey, florals, baked goods, books, wools, soaps and even wheat grass shots. Vendors were welcoming and friendly.
