Hard to find parking. Lots of venders with many different items for purchase. Food was good, and fresh vegetables available. Some junk around, but you find that at all farmers markets.

I live near the New Castle Farmers Market so I go there almost every weekend. I usually shop in the Amish section - the Amish have meats, poultry, salads, produce, baked goods, and a donut shop. Reasonably priced good quality food. Lots of different vendors - a shop with fancy dresses (communion/Easter/Holiday) for little girls, the sock depot, shoe repair... More

There is a little bit of everything here. My husband needed a new belt and the leather was cut and made to order while we waited. Good food and lots of markets with fresh vegetables, meats, and seafood. There is a huge flea market outside. This place makes for an enjoyable day.

I have enjoyed visiting this farmers market for years now. I used to like to walk around the vendor tables outside, since they are yard sale style, to see what kinds of treasures I could find. Selection of items depend on who sets up each week. As of late, it is a lot of used tools and some clothes. Used... More

The market is open year round and has an indoor and outdoor area. It is right across the street from the New Castle Airport. The outside market is mostly made up of recycled items of every description and condition. If you need a wrench or a plate you will find it at one of the tables. The indoor section does... More
