Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of my favorite spots! Whether wandering alone or walking with your dog or kids, this is a great spot! I make it a point to stop here whenever Im in Rehoboth.

Great place for birding, given the nearby sea shore and fresh water lakes, marsh areas, and pine forests. Easy walking/biking trails connect with Cape Henlopen State Park. Plenty of parking on this January holiday weekend.

Down the road a spell, is this remote beach, pretty sure it's a state park which it appears you have to pay to enter, but only summer months.
Worth a drive over from busier Rehoboth beach

It is a nice scenic route to bike. Not hilly, and my 5 year old was able to do it. Some great photo opportunities with beautiful scenery.

The trail is marked 2.6 miles, that is to the point and not round trip as far as I can tell. We walked a little over a half mile and it started to rain so we turned back. Our second attempt that afternoon we got to the first lookout point where the towers from WWII are visible but then turned back because of time and a dinner reservation. We never got to see the walkways others have posted. The pond was rather depleted of water. I think they drain it in spring. But still it was a lovely walk (we were the only walkers, lots of biker passing us by). Between the pond and the boardwalk, I got 12000 steps in one day, so that made me happy!

Pretty little pond with a good variety of waterfowl. We were there early on a December morning, there was frost on everything which made it very pretty with the blue skies and sunshine. We didn't walk all the way around the pond but did enjoy the boardwalk and viewing platform.

This is an amazing trail for biking! I went biking along here in the evening and the trail offered beautiful views and some shade. I would highly recommend checking it out.

Just a short bike ride from the end of the Rehoboth boardwalk, this is a really nice trail that totals about 10 miles round trip from Rehoboth Beach center of town, where we rented our bikes. We rode in the end of September when the weather was comfortable. It would be quite hot in the summer, as there are long stretches with very little shade. We loved it. The riding is easy on mostly fine gravel trails, with a nice long section of "boardwalk," a metal bridge-type structure that's fun to ride on. You can stop at a WWII observation tower and visit Fort Miles, an old Army fort with a small museum (we didn't go in) and some pretty impressive artillery guns to check out outside. There are benches here and there and at least one water fountain along the way. This ride was one of the highlights of our visit.

this is a great walk, Unfortunately we hated the town. Like a strip mall. We found the people unfriendly and resentful of the tourists. As to the hike, it's laid out well. Great visuals of birds, marsh, and the ocean beyond. If you can tolerate Rehoboth, the Pond is worth it.

We skipped the beach there and hiked the trail over to the pond. It's a nice hike but if on foot watch out for the bikers! Most of them were polite but a few came around corners too quickly.
