We first visited Eramosa Karst in the summer of 2011 with our grandchildren. Having recently moved to Hamilton, we re-discovered the place which is virtually on our doorstep. We went there for a brisk one-hour walk on a cold but brilliantly sunny day. There was...More

The eramosa karst is not only interesting to see because of the rock/cave formations, but it is also just a really nice place to take a walk because of the many trees and flowers there. There are many pathways that you can take seeing different...More

I also have heard about this over the years but never went until now. It's great for family fun as there's enough to do to hold the attention of the little ones. The little caves are cool and children love them. All in all not...More

Great area just to go for a walk or bike ride. Fields, trees, and of course the small cave-like Karsts. You wouldn't know you were right in the middle of the city.

Although we have lived in the area for many years, it was our 1st time visiting Eramosa Karst on a beautiful sunny Sunday. This area is protected land under the Hamilton Conservation Authority. There is parking nearby and, as is with many conservation parks in...More

There aren't too many Karsts around. This is the only one I know of. The caves are interesting and so is the landscape. There are extensive trails so a decent hike can be had. Various habitats exist for a mix of flora and fauna. It's...More

Although the actual Karst formations are difficult to appreciate due to them being primarily underground, the Karts is a beautiful walk. The paths are well cared for and easy to navigate for all skill levels. My wife and I walk it weekly and look forward...More
