After a lunch at one of the many places along the Riverwalk, we took a stroll to see the sights. Some interesting historical notes along the way, and lots of others out enjoying the day. We were particularly interested to find a bit about the New Sweden roots of the Christina river, which was new to us. Worth a visit... More

Beautiful scenic waterway with well kept boardwalk along the Christina River. We walked it the full way, stopped and went to dinner and then saw a ball game at the Blue Rocks Stadium. Great event and all enjoyed it

Wilmington did a really good job building this riverwalk. It's nice, safety, clean and great for family. Along the way, you will see a few restaurants as well, Parking at either end is fairly easy too.

This is a cute place to go if your looking for a date or a place to take the kids. Wilmington is known as a bad area, but this part is safe. There is a lot of security and a great nature center past the stores and shops. Restaurants galore, children's museum, movie theatre, putt putt and trampoline park all... More

We like to stroll along the Riverwalk, before or after having lunch or dinner at one of the restaurants along the walk. There are several good restaurants, a sandwich shop and a place to get ice cream. There is also a nature center, mini-golf, a trampoline park and a children's museum along the walk; along with plenty of nice views... More

So much to do and see without a carnival atmosphere. Even soltitude can be found here, walking and enjoying all the birds the river draws.

After we go to Joe's Crab Shack we always do the Riverwalk. The children love to walk up and down after dinner to release all the energy, also it is a favorite place to find Pokemon. You can sit on the benches or walk the walk.
