After we go to Joe's Crab Shack we always do the Riverwalk. The children love to walk up and down after dinner to release all the energy, also it is a favorite place to find Pokemon. You can sit on the benches or walk the walk.

We live in Wilmington and use the riverfront attractions quite often. The restaurants are great all along the waterfront. The nature center is a very cool place to explore; the walking and cycling paths are quite serene. Watching the birds as the season changes is a thrill. The fear and safety concerns from the community seem far away when you... More

Its about a mile long, basically brand new with restaurants all around it (i would guess 5 or more). I can imagine on a nice summers day that it is very crowded with people as the size of the places to eat where very big

Never visited the Riverwalk but will be back...Such a nice winding walk along the river with great views and opportunities to snack and or dine at the restaurants and shops along the way!

We have walked along the Wilmington riverfront and number of times . There is always something different happening to look at fundraising events to pop up bars. Also there is a river Taxi and you can take a ride. Some of the local sculling teams practice and compete on the river. The walkway is winding and tree stand garden beds... More

The Riverfront area has made great strides, going from being a wasteland for several decades to being a great place for dining, living and entertainment. The Riverwalk takes you along the Christina River, with many plaques and photo displays of the historic past of the Riverfront. If you work up an appetite, there are many good restaurants nearby.

A mile and one-half walking path along the Christina River in an area that was once an industrial landscape. The walk is anchored at the southwest end by the Russell Peterson Natural Resources area. The walk is flat, with few obstacles. Bicycle riders and skatboarders can be a problem at times.

No parking and not much to see. Disappointed, with a little work it could be a nice area. I guess the city doesn't really care.

There aren't many sites to see along the walk but it's a nice walk if you have a couple of hours to spend on a sunny day. The DuPont Environmental Center is at the end of the walk and has trails of its own through the marshes.
