Nice Local Venue

Been here a few times. My favorite show, Chris Botti. Nice little venue for small town. Easy parking, comfortable chairs depending on your seats, and great prices.

I have been to the Grand a few times and each time it did not disappoint. The venue is intimate and yet enjoyable. I would go to another concert in a heartbeat!

I felt comfortable parking and walking to the Grand. Once inside I enjoyed the atmosphere of the venue. The stage is at the right level and the sounds are great through out. I would go back in a second.

This was my first concert experience at this historic landmark (previously visited the exhibit area only.) What a fine setting for an intimate, and in the case of Straight No Chaser, a very fun event. Originally opened in 1871, this beautiful building hosted "thousands of renowned entertainers and performing artists." Due to changing times, the theater fell into disrepair due... More

While it's called the Grand Opera, this historic treasure - thankfully saved from destruction - really is more compact & intimate than grand; in fact it appeared as if some members of the first-rate Delaware Symphony might tumble off the edge of the compact stage. Acoustics are excellent & even without music the glorious restored murals of the Muses are... More

We saw a concert here this past Sunday and it’s just a great local venue for everything from one person comedy shows to symphony orchestras. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the seats are comfortable with adequate legroom, and, as I mentioned, the acoustics are really phenomenal. It’s located in the heart of downtown Wilmington with numerous restaurant choices... More

Wilmington's Grand Opera House is an intimate venue for concerts. Acoustically, it is almost perfect. One can hear unmixed performers at the rear of the theater.

This building is listed on the historical registry and located in downtown Wilmington, Delaware. You can see well known musicians inside this beautiful, yet quaint auditorium.. Built in the late 1800s, it has been restored and stays maintained. A true Wilmington treasure that is well cared for year round. You can see musical concerts to comedy shows, as well as... More

Have seen shows at this venue and my husband and I always enjoy the shows, the venue itself is beautiful and not too big, which makes our experience so much better. Love this Historic building!
