The Boca Museum Of Art is a showcase for the City Of Boca. There are many events and exhibits that rival much larger facilities. It's a real pleasure to have this gem so close.

This attractive building houses a small permanent collection of miscellaneous art that includes contemporary glass, paintings and some African and pre-Columbian works. The revolving exhibits are usually thoughtfully curated and imaginative: I've seen a top-notch Warhol exhibit and my most recent visit included Glasstress, a very rewarding exhibit of contemporary glass art from a studio in Venice. The compact size... More

A recent visit was a a real eye opener. Haven't been in a few years and the current exhibits and spaces have made leaps in bounds in quality and variety. There obviously have been wonderful investments made in the collections and shows. The exhibits are well worth a visit. The glass installations are over the top. The exhibits on the... More

This museum offers free entrance once a month. Check their website for the exact dates. When my husband and I visited, the museum was featuring a glass exhibit which had exquisite pieces on display! The museum is bright and airy, although their sculpture garden needs some updating. It is not a major museum like the Norton in West Palm Beach... More

You have to be ready for stark modern art. We have to say it was not what we cared about. We were very disappointed in what was displayed. There was an area of traditional art that we enjoyed.

Located in the beautiful Mizner park The museum had a glass show Glasstress assembled by a glass studio Barengo Studio that we buy from in Murano. The museum is a beautiful and well designed for displaying art.

Berengo Studio of Venice, Murano, Italy is exhibiting an interesting array of Art Glass. There are several thought provoking pieces, and it's interesting to see the different interpretations of thought into glass. I believe it is on exhibit until July.

A small community are museum that is far better than most community museum. A must see for the area. Check the temporary exhibits, as they usually are wonderful. The permanent exhibits are high quality and worth seeing even if there isn't a special event.

If you are going to Mizner park anyway, this isn't a bad place to spend an hour or two. At least go into their gift shop. Some of their merchandise is unusually artistic for a small museum. At times they have special exhibits that are worthwhile.

Thank Lois F
