A small community are museum that is far better than most community museum. A must see for the area. Check the temporary exhibits, as they usually are wonderful. The permanent exhibits are high quality and worth seeing even if there isn't a special event.

If you are going to Mizner park anyway, this isn't a bad place to spend an hour or two. At least go into their gift shop. Some of their merchandise is unusually artistic for a small museum. At times they have special exhibits that are worthwhile.

Beautiful building with two levels! There was a Hungarian art exhibit on display at the time which was fascinating, and the rest of the art was more modern. So many multi medium pieces and beautiful colours! Some of the most interesting pieces I've ever seen. Absolutely stunning. Only had time to spend just less than 1.5 hours there, could have... More

After traveling to Boca for decades, I finally visited! This is an interesting museum and worth time. It's at one end of the ridiculous Flager shopping/eating/visiting Park so you can ogle Rolls Royces, Bentleys, and such. I enjoy smaller, yet serious museums and this is an outstanding example. Staff are friendly.

I absolutely loved this museum. It's medium sized and the selection of exhibitions was very nice when I was there. The receptionists were very friendly (one of them even spoke really good Portuguese) and gave us a briefing on what we were about to see. The museum's location is pretty good too: near stores, restaurants, an outdoor theater etc.

This is a beautiful building however, some of the art is so bizarre that it makes for a laughable experience. Some fine work but overall a lot of wasted space with avant guard artwork.

Just a few good works exhibited. Luckily they have several free days/nights when you can visit. Would not pay money to enter.

Due to a rainy weekend, this was a perfect opportunity to see a museum I've not been before. I was pleasantly surprised at the breadth of different art that was on display. Right now includes some very thought provoking Hungarian art photography, paintings, and mised media. The place was very quiet as most people were shuffling around for the holidays.... More

The Boca Raton Museum of Art is located at the north edge of tony Mizer Park shopping area. The museum is small but had a nice collection of period photographs like, contemporary and modern art, art glass, pre-Columbian artifacts and an attractive sculpture garden. We were greeted by a pleasant and competent docent. Our admission was gratis through NARM membership.
