Scheduled the day trip to this private island which houses a fabulous little museum and a great private club. The boat trip which leaves daily from Captiva allows a non-member to have lunch--which is great. The scenery and plantings are exquisite and the dolphins are numerous. Overall--an absolutely great day trip.

Stopped at Useppa for one overnight on our boat. Dockage was perfect. Dinner at Collier Inn was fantastic. A great getaway on a beautiful private island. We felt completely relaxed What great place.

We have lived here 16 months and it is a wonderful lifestyle It took my husband 10 years to convince me to live here year round and I wish we had moved here sooner. Come explore this tropical paradise on the west coast of Florida. Great fishing, relaxing, etc and the mainland is 15 minutes by boat as well as great... More

We ate at the Useppa Island Club for lunch as part of the stop on the Captiva Cruises itinerary. It was wonderful. The food itself was nothing to write home about, and when you are married to an Executive Chef, you get to hear all about what could be better with it. But the setting was nice.

This is a great place to go and relax. No cars, just a few golf carts and acres of nature with wonderful walking paths, beaches and a neat museum. Play croquet, swim in a pool or play chess on a huge outdoor chess board. Really nest place if you know a member.

Useppa is a historic Island that is beautiful and loaded with history. The island is private and only open to members unless you take the ferry over from Captiva Island. There are about 100 historic homes on Useppa many built around the turn of the 20th century. There is a museum on the island that documents the history of the... More

We loved our trip to Useppa Island on the Lady Chadwick. It's reasonably priced and a nice, clean boat with nice captains. Once at Useppa, we enjoyed the beautiful grounds and lunch at Collier Inn. This is a private island and can only be seen by the public by going on the Lady Chadwick cruise.

Went to Useppa with another family and rented a house for the weekend. It was a perfect getaway to relax and unwind. No stress with kids as the pool, playground, walk ways with plenty to look at all provided plenty of interesting diversions. Clubhouse had delicious food and there is also a little shop for provisions. The beauty of this... More

We had a lovely stay on Useppa Island but we were left with a negative impression upon leaving. We rented a 2-bedroom cottage through the Useppa Island Club, as many Useppa rentals are (a few are done privately through home owners, but the club is discouraging this). The island is beautiful, quiet and a nice retreat compared to many of... More
