I am a Florida native. This is my favorite beach. Plenty of parking. The thing I appreciate the most is the mini changing stations with outside showers dotted along the paved path. Most picnic tables have grills. They do have a beach cafe I haven’t...More

Just driving along tmhe coast line, we decided to give it a shot. Was not disappointed. However, a lot of seaweed along the coast line. Noteworthy, there was a working driving a tractor attempting to clean it up

Loved the white powdery sand and clear blue ocean water! Picked up a few sea shells. We will come back here again.

All that parking attracts a lot of cars. And, those cars also including a lot of non-beach-goer-thru-traffic. Coquina is a terrific beach with plenty of shade, walking paths, public BBQ grills, picnic tables, changing rooms, bathrooms, a beach snack bar with canopy rentals, and lots...More

Not only is this beach gorgeous, but its amenities are wonderful. It’s clean even over a 4th of July weekend. Nice bathrooms, multiple changing rooms with showers, tons of picnic tables under huge shade trees and grills to make hamburgers and hotdogs. We loved it!

Best time to visit is during the week or else it may get a little crowded on the weekends... good parking, picnic tables & BBQs, feet from the beach. Literally manatee swimming by... and seashells to boot. And free to park unlike Sanibel.

My husband Ray and I visited Anna Maria last week and walked Coquina Beach after checking out the Sunday Market. It wad early so it wasn't too crowded yet, but the island is getting more crowded overall. Still nice for a stroll!

Soft, white sand, lot of activities. Great place to visit. You can hear live music, play beach voleyball, swim in the sea's clear waters, have a drink or a lunch with a spectacular view.

A great beach, often missed by the tourists. Plenty of parking, a snack bar, even some fishing to be had. Don't be surprised if you spot a Manatee in the swim zone.

This beach is PERFECT. There are hanging areas, clean restrooms, free close parking, tall pine trees to sit under if you desire shade. We sat our elderly family and grands under the trees to protect them from the sun and heat while the other family...More

I’ve never seen anyone grilling on the beach only in picnic areas. I don’t believe you can set up camper.

You are not supposed to bring alchol-the primary concern is that glass can be left behind and people are likely to injure themselves when they step on it. Frankly, most people bring wine in plastic bottles and use plastic... More
