This is a cool place that was once an Indian trading post,a post office and general store in what was once a wilderness frontier. In many ways Chokoloskee Island still is the end of civilization as one heads south along Florida's west coast, beyond here is...More

I always enjoy coming here. The store is locked in time and there's always some item that you didn't notice on a previous trip.

Good place to pop in and learn a bit about the island. Lots of history and antiques to look at in an original location. Young kids also enjoyed it.

HI I would recommend the Havana Café located here on Chokoloskee Island, they have fresh seafood and a 5 star rating on Tripadvisor. There are good restaurants in Everglades as well.
