Was embarrassed to bring my visiting family here. Was like walking into a flea market. Food court first thing. Kids going crazy. Feed me. Feed me. Displays were okay. Not worth the money,

We were recently in Tampa for the UT vs Northwestern game. The only thing my daughter wanted to do was go to the CMA while we were there. It was such a good experience. Now don't go if you think it's gonna be SeaWorld because it's not. They rescue, rehab & release the marine life. We went to see Winter... More

I'm a native Floridian and have done Sea World several times and feel its a waste of time and money. The Clearwater Marine Aquarium opened up after we moved to Fort Lauderdale 15 years ago. We recently moved back and decided to visit it for the first time today. It is not large like Sea World nor does it have... More

This attraction is overcrowded and under prepared for the mass crowds that pile into this out dated facility. The work that they do here from operations on turtles to rehab on all types of marine animals is amazing, that is the only thing that keeps it from a 1 star review. Watch the Movie and live in that fantasy.

It's not as big and fancy as other aquariums but has its own style. First it is small .We went to the main place first and finished free seeings soon without even noticing it, tried to have more fun but found out not enough openings left in all other activities, so we took boat to their another building to feed... I think a better name for this place would be "Sea life rescue center" or "Rehabilitation center." We were expecting an actual aquarium with tons of fish, sharks and other sea life for our young children. However, one can walk around the whole "aquarium" in 10 minutes, it is very small. One tank with a few fish, 1 shark and... More

My only complaint is that one cannot get close enough to Winter w/o paying extra "experience" fees, etc. I wasn't expecting the world here; but a clear view would have been nice. Otherwise, this place is wonderful. A little pricey for what you get, but all in all, its worth it because where else can you see Winter anyways? The... More

Our 8 year old was the main reason for our visit, but we all gained richly from the experience. While most visitors would admit that Winter and Hope are their main reason for visiting the CMA, there's so much more to see and learn. For example, there are some incredibly heart-warming stories, and displays of these, on the humans whose... More

The Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a very special place. It is incredibly interesting and fun for a family visit. But it is also a working marine hospital; we saw a family of turtles being treated in the hospital wing when we were there.
