The pier has vendors selling "stuff" (souveniers and such). Once you walk further out (and consider paying the $1 to get access to the fishing pier) it is very lovely and you get great views. There are also street performers on nice days.

Husband and needed a little breather before the holidays officially started, so we picked Clearwater. I loved Pier 60, the whole beach experience and all. We do not have children, but seems like the perfect place for kids. We loved it! Peaceful, clean and all that good stuff. Loved it!

they put on sunset activities everyday a few hours before till a few hours after. there are local street performers and craft for sale. they charge $1 to get to end of the pier. you can fish from the end, which we didn't do. we watched the pelicans dive bombing the water, and actually saw dolphins swim by. It was beautiful.

Always bustling with activity! It can be crowded on the weekends especially with the vendors. You have to pay to access the very end of the pier.

It is a nice pier with some benches to sit on. We did not pay to go all the way out on it. Gift shop was nice but Pricey as everything is on the Island. Saw a couple of sharks and a stingray looking down in the water. Met a guy named Adam selling some Shark Teeth necklaces. Very nice... More

My daughter had a fabulous birthday visiting this pier with the entertainment, kid's park and vendors. Such a happy calm family friendly environment.

Clean pier, pleasant walkway albeit dark with dim lights (sea turtles). Benches and covered areas. Not rowdy; low key. Many tourists.

The sunset at pier 60 is pretty cool. It's a little craft bizarre with entertainment and activities for the kids. You can pick up some really unique souvenirs and watch an amazing sunset! There's also fishing licenses available so you can fish off the pier. They also play movies outdoors on the weekends!
