Amazing spot for a triathlon!

Great spot to host races! Roads and parking lots all kept very clean! I have seen many deer, rabbits, etc out here. Great weekend getaway

Loved the well marked hiking trails through out the park. The numbering system & trail markers help guide you. You can make it a long or short hike, anything you want. The sandy trails can be hard to walk through, hiking poles help. Lots of wold flora & fauna to see. Beach has a beautiful pavilion & picnic area.

I visited this park on a warm sunny day with my 3 year old and we were awed by the size of this place, the quality of the installations and the beauty of its nature. You can walk for hours or take a 10 minute trail; the scenery is beautiful, the trails are well indicated and it is near the... More

This is a large park with a lot to see and do, a day is not enough to do everything. Park is located near hwy 27, visit early to get a change to see wildlife. An adventure for the whole family

We escaped the bright lights of Orlando with a little trip to Lake Louisa where we rented kayaks and had a wonderful time paddling around the large, beautiful lake where we saw stunning wildlife.

Just a few minutes up the road from Walmart at Cagan Crossing. Having visited the area a few times and only seen Theme Parks and Shops I thought it would be good to see some authentic Florida. Not the man made bits. Lake Louisa didn't disappoint. Visited on a weekday in August and there was just a handful of people... More

It cost $5 for a car with up to 8 people or $2 per person on foot. The entry ticket is valid all day so we were advised if we wanted to head out for something to eat and come back later we wouldn't have to pay to re-enter. The friendly ranger provided a site map and information about what... More

We only stayed for a short while as the children didn't want to come but could of stayed all day! Nominal fee ($8 or $5 can't remember) to get in & we were given a map buy the friendly ranger. The area was beautiful & so peaceful. Great for walking, cycling, birdwatching, photography & just getting away from the hustle... More

This state park is breathtaking! We were greeted by a friendly ranger, gave us a map of the park and was very helpful when we asked if it was a good place to run bikes and oh we were in for a treat! We parked right next to the rangers office and started our bike ride. The views were impressive!... More
