The park is super lovely and we saw plenty of wildlife including deer, gators and snakes. Trails are clean and well maintained and the Park Rangers were awesome, this truly is a fabulous state park! We hiked the trails for 3 days and one morning rode bikes and another afternoon we rented kayaks. Was peaceful and beautiful and a much... More

With nearly 20 miles of trails there is always a new path to take, from Oak hammocks to palmetto fields to pine forests.

Just couldn't get all the hiking in that I wanted. So many nice trails. Walked the longest one first and it had really sandy beach type trails. Don't wear heavy hiking boots. Light weight tennis shoes are best.

Lake Louisa State Park is a great place to spend a day off. It doesn't matter whether you're by yourself, with friends, or family. This place is huge, and has an assortment of things to do........hiking, biking, canoeing, camping, Fishing, and more. It also has a small beach with picnic tables, restrooms, etc. The hiking section has multiple trails with... More

We drove from Orlando to see this park which has examples of the original landscape of this part of Florida before it was developed into orange groves and then a huge city and suburban landscape. We enjoyed seeing many live oaks, some huge, with trailing Irish moss. We visited Lake Louisa and we saw the cottages that you can rent.... More

Several trails to chose from. Has camp grounds and lakes for fishing. Can't wait to get back and explore more of the park.

Beautiful park and good campground. Cabins available too and they looked very modern and roomy. Limited sites with full hookup. Well maintained and friendly and helpful staff.

I almost hate to give this a park an excellent review because it may make campsites more difficult to get. I have a small travel trailer and love the campsites. Only complaint is I wish more sites had a full hook up. The bathroom and shower facilities are very good - Very clean and very well ventilated - Not air... More

We visit Lake Louisa every time we are in Florida. It's $5 for you to get in and you feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere. Sit by the beach overlooking the lake or walk through the woods keeping to the many nature trails. It's just bliss. Take drinks and a picnic or BBQ. There is nothing... More
