Hidden away right on a main road. this is a little treasure. The long boardwalk walk under the trees is a delight. The small museum area is nice. Even the bathrooms are nice!

This is a very nice trail around the Nature Center. The path is actually an elevated boardwalk with information placards along the way noting the different species of flora and fauna.

This park is aptly named. There are 34 species of ferns present! But, it's not just ferns to be seen. The Nature Center Exhibit Room (not very large) had some interesting displays and exhibits. All trails are accessed from behind the Nature Center. There are a number of trails, at least one of which is wheelchair accessible. These trails lead... More

Fern Forest is a fun place to take the family to get away from the computers. I loved the relaxing atmosphere and the walking trails. It's nice to get out of the house and see nature. If you like getting outside the house and seeing some outdoors to relax, then Fern Forest is your place

A comfortable boardwalk stroll through the Florida foliage leading to some options for a short trail walk- nothing spectacular, but a comfortable look at Florida nature

I absolutely love this park. If you are trying to go on a short nature trail, this is your place. It is a great place to allow yourself to disconnect from the busy city for a little while. I LOVE their "amphitheater" and plan to have my wedding ceremony there next year; the covered outside seating has such a beautiful... More

I've heard about Fern Forest and it was on my to-do list. A co-coworker texted me that they were having their native plant sale this past Saturday so the boyfriend and I decided to visit in the late afternoon. We missed the sale and it was raining but we decided to pop into the nature center and ended up walking... More

We got lucky...took the family there on a Sunday to picnic, walk, etc....and SURPRISE...there was a Bluegrass Music thing going on. These guys were fantastic and what an addition to an already wonderful family day...can't wait to do it again.
