I would give the course a 4.6 star actually. Elevated and contour smooth greens, challenging layouts, very good conditions from tee box to green, beautiful scenery, good pace of play, etc. prompted me to recommend this course to anyone. I didn't give a 5-star because it's pricey and it doesn't include range balls when comparing to the nearby Truxxxx Doral courses, which are my absolute favorites. A local resident told me he played the Biltmore for about $30 off-season. I'd say that's what it is worth in any season. I would compare it to a decent public course. Nothing remotely worth the $200+ we paid. The layout was OK but not very imaginative. The condition was lousy. Kind of like an over-played public course. The greens were wildly inconsistent. Again, if it were ~$30, I would have thought, "yeah, that wasn't bad". But the price was just WAY out of whack with what you got. Skip it until you start reading better reviews. Or better yet, wait until the off season and get your destination fix in.…

Let me just say, I got a great deal on GolfNow and though the course is not in very good shape, it was playable and fun. Besides, it's absolutely gorgeous and I spent some time touring the hotel afterwords and had a great lunch at the Italian restaurant in the courtyard of the hotel. Definitely worth the visit. I even enjoyed a nice chat with the head groundskeeper who is working diligently to get it back into great shape.…

Florida has many World Class golf courses putting Biltmore in tough competition. The design is good and the cost ok. They however need to put more in maintenance.

What a shame what they did to this magnificent golf course. The fairways are in really bad condition, there is no grass around the greens. Bunkers not raked. The only good think about the golf course is great people who work there. They are super nice and helpful.
