The parking lot is steps from the beach. Multiple lifeguard stands keep the kids safe. You can surf, paddle board and dive south of the most southern lifeguard stand. Great place to teach the kids how to surf. Quarterdeck is on the pier and the...More

Its a beach. Not very clean, but not very crowded. There were no guards on duty and no swimming flags were up. Much nicer beaches further north or south.

Our family enjoyed this beach during our summer vacay. We went to Hollywood Beach across from Double Tree. The beach was very crowded and limited places to sit. At Dania, there was a lot of parking spaces available on the weekend and open places to...More

Fishing, yes on the pier or from the beach. Swimming, yes including lifeguards. Dining, yes indoors/outdoors at the Quarterdeck restaurant located at the beginning of the pier; outdoors/covered area at the Dania Beach Grill; or bring a picnic. Playground, yes.

Parking was right at the beach for a small fee. Public bathrooms and a shower for when you come off the beach were nice. Beach was on the flatter side and was very clean.

It is a nice place just to kick back and relax. The ocean does not have to have tons of people or attractions to be worth visiting. Peaceful.

Not a lot special other than the beautiful ocean! The beach was somewhat narrow but it was high tide and it was very choppy...we are from the gulf coast of FL where you don't have to pay attention to the tides....it's almost always smooth.

Parking stuff not friendly. No courtesy minutes. We got fine for using restroom for extra 10 over our payment

Relaxing, less populated area within walking distance to restaurants for lunch or dinner. The view is fantastic, near the Dania Pier, where the cruise ships and other vessels enter/ exit the port.

I believe there's a set-up for one volleyball net on the beach just north of the fishing pier.
