People complain often about animals in "captivity" but if these animals were left in the wild, they would have died. Most of the birds are wild, and all injured animals have their own enclosures and are fed well and well taken care of. I know...More

This place is beautiful!! The grounds are peaceful and you get up close with incredibly beautiful birds. It was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours. Totally worth the cost of admission.

Very beautiful place to visit. Easy to get to. Lots of exotic trees, flowers, plants and animals. Flamingos were just as I hoped...bright pink/coral colored. Lots of peacocks running around, spreading their tail feathers. Food stations are scattered about so that you can feed some...More

planning a trip for over here for over a month now and calling for rain both days :( is this place open if it rains and can we do with ponchos

You can do it on a rainy day but it won't be nearly as enjoyable. I would hold off and pick a day without rain in the forecast. It's pretty much all outdoors and rain would really "dampen" the experience.

Are the gardens handicap accessible? My mother uses either a walker or a wheelchair depending on distance. We would love to visit if possible.

Hi, I've read that there are some renovations going on, and that some of the exhibits may not be open at the moment. Just curious - Is the otter exhibit currently open? That's one of the main reasons my family would like to visit this month. Thanks!
