This was a pretty little street lined with palm trees and colorful streets. Then looking at the stores made you realize that they were mostly for Biker/Harley apparel or tattoos. The restaurants also wear geared towards Bikers with lots of biker parking and outdoor bars. The atmosphere was different here at day versus night. The street seemed to come alive... More

We were in the area for Christmas week. We went to Beach Street on December 26. We walked for blocks, to find hardly anything open!

Beach Street offers all the shopping that any visitor could possibly want. From the restaurants and tourist souvenir shops. The Harley crowd will enjoy the Main Street corridor

sand nice and white, and clean, water wasn't murky...we really liked being there. There are small restaurants and shops along the area, also Joe's Crab Shack is a must to eat seafood.

We travel to Daytona a couple times a year (family nearby) and always walk Beach Street. It's a fun way to burn a few hours and the setting is very nice along the Halifax. There are a couple places you can stop for a drink and several nice eateries. On our last visit in October 2016, we noticed a concerted... More

Great if you like antiques. The candy shop on that street was awesome. Since I went during off season, I am not sure what to expect. It was quiet and a few shops and restuarants were open.

Beach Street runs from the Boardwalk at the beachside. There are several bars and restaurants. You must visit Boot Hill bar. It is actually across the street from and old cemetery called Boot Hill. During Bike Week this is the place to go to see the bands. Be forewarned ... it's busy!
