Played the South Course here for the first time in over a year. In a nutshell, it is in terrible condition. The fairways and tee boxes have more bare spots than a Kardashian fashion show. I've seen smoother washboards, too. The greens looked very nice and uniform, but were very slow. They need rolled and cut. It was like putting... More

Daytona Beach Golf and Country Club is the municipal club in town, owned by the city. There are two 18-hole courses found here, North and South. The South Course is a Donald Ross design. We played during an unseasonably warm December day. The South course was very forgiving, straight and even. The parkland course is surrounded by pine and oak... More

Daytona Beach Golf Club has both a North Course and a South Course. We played the South Course and found conditions to be so-so. The course is flat and the holes pretty much have straight fairways that become monotonous and without personality. There is no "wow" factor. It provided a practice round, but I wouldn't characterize it as challenging or... More

There are 2 - 18 hole courses here. North & South. On the day we were there, the starter said the south course was in better shape. It turned out to be decent. It was nice this was the warmest day we were there. South course was very straight and even. I found it funny a previous reviewer said you... More

I have played at virtually every course in DB OB Plantation you name it. Every year we will play at least 1-2 rounds here. Why simply the courses are in good shape, fun, interesting and the price is right. Resort golf is fun but costly. I want to play golf. $40 daytime with cart. Want a fun round. Play here

Nice golf course, especially for the price. Used Golf 18. Played the North course, because it is user friendly for women.

My husband and I started with the south course and truly enjoyed it. Course is open and mostly straight away which faired well for my new golf game. The course was in good shape but the cart paths were dirt and could use some work. We replayed on the north course which was more challenging in layout and in great... More

The south course is easier, you can't lose a ball. The greens are fast and great for a muni course. Nice crew, carts and inexpensive. I play here about once a month but golf 5 other course regularly.

Many people have played and reviewed the Daytona Beach Golf Club. The review are almost exclusively about the newer North Course. And those reviews are spot on. My issue is with the South Course. The City of Daytona Beach and the course management should be ashamed of themselves for ignoring the South Course for so long. How many multi-course facilities... More

Went on a Saturday morning, they were very busy, so I'm thinking early arrival. Looks like a great course to play, lots of practice areas. Carts and bag drop off areas available. Looks like the Pro Shop always has a little bargain/sale going on, depending on what you are looking for. Fees are reasonable.
