We camped for a couple nights in January of this year. The weather was very comfortable, just cool enough for a fire. Our stay was basically perfect. Now, you have to understand that these are Teepees, not tents with mosquito netting. So you either need...More

We went on a warm but cloudy weekend day and had lots of room for the kids to run around. The facility was clean and well life-guarded.

I think Quiet Waters is a really cool park. When it is scorching hot out it can be pretty brutal but you will most certainly always find people at the Ski Rixen section on the lake there. I had not seen anything like it before...More

There's lots to do here -- for young and old, for singles, couples, and families, for the athletic and the sedentary. There are picnic covered pavilions. And bike trails, including a mountain bike section with a bike-washing rack no less. Tents and teepees are arrayed...More

For a peaceful and fun weekend camping trip without the hassle of bringing along all your tent gear, this is perfect! Also met some friendly people at the tent next to me! Will be back

This is a very large park to bring your bikes and ride awhile, relax by a nearby tree or even watch the skiers at Ski Rixen.

I think the other contributor answered appropriately. Wouldn't hurt to call the park directly and see if there are any other details for you to know before your slumber party. Have fun, and don't forget your bug spray!

We only went there for the Renaissance Faire, and there were food venders for that, but I really don't know anything else about the park or other events held there.
