The night we were out there was a 10 miles an hour breeze that was delicious. Several anglers dotted the pier. It’s a must do! At the entrance there’s a very good cafe. If you found this review helpful please consider giving me a like,...More

The pier is well maintained. You can stroll, watch the fish, watch the fisherman, or just enjoy the view and the breeze.

We visited the pier in the late afternoon with a small baby in a stroller. The cost is one dollar per person.. baby was free. The pier is quite wide and the slats on the side are close enough together that there should be no...More

The pier staff were friendly. The pier is clean and the fishing was great even though we only caught a shark. You can buy bait at the pier. The only issue was that there was limited parking so get there early. Definitely, will be back.

You can walk out onto this pier for just $1, and kids (I believe 5 and under) are free. You can also fish from the pier (the charge is slightly higher), which is entertaining to watch if you are just observing. There are beautiful views...More

This pier is not like some piers you will find with restaurants & shops on it. It is strictly a fishing pier but is fun to walk and I got some great pictures of the pier from the beach at sunrise. It costs a buck...More

Deerfield Beach keeps the area very clean, so all of the beach is pleasant. With a walk out on the pier, you can enjoy the breeze and the view. With the small entrance fee, the pier is well maintained, and it is not crowded.

Excellent place to visit with family and friends. Walk the length of the Pier. The view is magnificent. The only downside of the Pier is parking is a little difficult.

Alcohol is not permitted on the pier if I recall, but I have no idea about a crab trap. It's pretty high above the water, and I didn't see anyone else doing this, but that doesn't mean it can't be done. But no alcohol.

They charge a dollar to go on the pier but Check with website to see if there is an age limit for fishing. Also check if a fishing licence is necessary

Dogs are not allowed anywhere on Ocean Way from the east sidewalk to the beach. This includes the entire boardwalk area and the pier itself.
