Small park with plenty of parking spaces some right up to the waters edge. Lovely views over the bay, quite exposed & was a bit windy the day we visited. Not many people around some walkers & some fishing, no amenities so bring refreshments.

This park is an actual archaeological site. There are a few interesting signs that explain the mounds that are found there. There are no amenities in the park, so bring food and drink. There is no good swimming here, but it offers a nice, convenient...More

Beautiful water views. Great wildlife. A true painter's paradise. Also has a boat launch that goes to the beautiful bay.

We stopped here for a little peace and quiet. Was a bit windy so not to many truck/trailers in the parking lot. We went to the point/end of the park to see what was happening. Not many folks around and no sailing or sculling going...More

This is where the boat launch is located but there is a good view of the bay. There are usually a few fishermen wading and fishing and there are typically some shore birds, gulls and terns.

A great park if you like to sit & listen to the waves hitting shore. Benches are placed in various locations & there are picnic tables & a covered pavillion complete with restrooms. Beautiful location.

A great place to watch a sunrise, sunset, have a picnic, launch a boat, take a walk on the old midden. The thought is that the Indian spirits protect Englewood and the surrounding area from hurricanes.

Indian Mound park is a great place to put your boat in the water. If you don't want to do that, you can have a cookout or just enjoy Lemon Bay.

We knew the site was small but had an Indian burial mound. Several sign boards provided information, but except for the elevated hilly terrain which has long become tree-covered, we might have missed it. The views across Lemon Bay are worth the trip alone.

The dock is fine and the water level is normal. There was tree damage around Englewood but they were pretty lucky
